FAQ's

Q. What are your treatment modalities?

A: We believe that optimal health starts with a good foundation. Through a comprehensive history taking and evaluation, we identify lifestyle and nutritional changes that would benefit the patient. We may then proceed to laboratory evaluation to further elucidate the appropriate treatment plan. Treatment may include nutritional therapies, supplements, herbal remedies, stress management protocol, hormonal modulation therapy using natural remedies and other alternative therapies. All treatment plans are tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

Q. How do I know if Oasis for Optimal Health is a good match for me?

A. Questions that may help you in making a decision are – Am I ready to assume an active role in my health? Do I believe that mind, body and spirit are connected? Am I getting the results I desire with my current regimen? We believe in viewing the individual as a whole and not as a sum of their symptoms.

Q. Would I have to stop all my medications in order to be treated by you?

A. Absolutely not. We would consider that irresponsible. One of our mandatory requirements is that you remain in treatment with your family physician.

Q. Do you accept insurances?

A. We do not, at this time, accept any insurance. We want to dedicate all of our time and resources to help patients realize their goals, and we feel that this is the best way to accomplish this goal.

Q. Are there any other therapies available at your facility?

A. An acupuncturist, massage therapist and energy worker are available for those who wish to make use of these services. To promote stress reduction, balance and rejuvenation we also offer some biofeedback modalities.

Q. Do you treat specific diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure?

A. Many diseases are a by-product of nutritional deficiencies, lifestyle imbalances and choices. With correction of these imbalances, it is very possible you will notice significant improvement in your condition. You may in many cases be able to reduce or modify your medication with the help of your physician.
